Notable recent partnerships

Over its’ 90 year history, the Trust has provided financial support to well over a hundred charities in Australia.  We have built numerous long and valuable partnerships, providing sustainable funds that make a a real difference to non-profits whose values and vision align with those of the Trust.

All the charities we support do wonderful work.  However, of particular note in recent years, the Trust has donated many hundreds of thousands of dollars to each of the following charities:

MIRABEL FOUNDATION – the only organisation in Australia specifically addressing the needs of children orphaned or abandoned due to parental drug use. Mirabel works at restoring a child’s sense of self-worth, belonging and hope in order for them to reach their full potential as young adults.

FARESHARE – which since 2001 has been giving healthy, nutritious meals to the hungry and the homeless in Victoria, using ‘rescued’ food that would otherwise end up in landfill.

THE LIGHTHOUSE FOUNDATION – which provides intensive, 24/7 support and care for homeless young people who have experienced traumatic backgrounds by providing safe homes, including the ‘Campbell Edwards Lighthouse’ in Clayton.

COTTAGE BY THE SEA – one of Australia’s oldest children’s charities, that empowers disadvantaged children by supporting them in developing their mind, body and spirit by providing leadership and outreach programs in a positive, healthy, seaside environment.

ARDOCH YOUTH FOUNDATION – which for 25 years has provided educational support for disadvantaged children and young people, through tailored learning programs that address barriers and broaden horizons.
